Max Schwarzbach is a working student and writes at Milliarum, among other things his project-related final thesis. He is supported by the Germany Scholarship and is currently completing his training certificate.
Dear Max, why billions?
Max Schwarzbach: At the end of the day, Milliarum is perfect for me because I have found what I was looking for here: an open and innovative company. It's exciting to be able to get to know the areas of SAP development and SAP consulting in practice at Milliarum after the theoretical insights gained during my studies. This allows me to expand my skills and knowledge. It was important for me to have an environment in which I could learn a lot. Milliarum attaches great importance to the development of its employees. This gives me the opportunity to get a taste of many areas and delve deeper into topics that interest me. I can try things out, work very independently and rely on the support of experienced colleagues at all times. As a student, flexibility is very important to me. Here I can combine my studies and my job very well. A lot of trust is placed in me. At the same time, I can contribute ideas, try things out, receive valuable feedback and always have a sympathetic ear. I know from fellow students that this is not the case everywhere.
What are special milestones on your path at Milliarum?
Max Schwarzbach: I've been in the team for almost two years now and can look back on many highlights: I got my first own project off the ground, was able to help optimize processes, was able to present the results of my work and received a lot of helpful input, both on the project and on presentation techniques. I can always take a lot away with me. I also think it's great that my colleagues involve me so much, so that I can get a taste of many areas. I was also allowed to go along to customer meetings and get involved in the design of Milliarum's website.
Why should young people apply to Milliarum?
Max Schwarzbach: As a young person, you are looking for an employer where you can develop and grow freely. You can do that extremely well here: there are many challenges and exciting projects with interesting customers. The SAP industry is generally very broad-based, flexible and dynamic. Young professionals in particular can learn a lot and take a lot with them. But even more important are the people in the company: The team is very positive, helpful and experienced. Flexibility is very important for young people when it comes to balancing their private and professional lives, especially because there is a lot going on at the start of their careers.
