DeepSeek and Llama: Potential of large open source models in SAP On-Premise

DeepSeek is causing an uproar on the markets: where OpenAI has dominated the AI boom to date, the Chinese start-up ChatGPT is currently overtaking it with a new open source model. But Microsoft is also at the top of the AI game with Llama.

 

In SAP, AI is still in its infancy. However, the rapid pace at which tech companies are currently outdoing each other with even more powerful models shows that AI will come of age in 2025.
