Our SAP expert Freya Wester-Ebbinghaus has been nominated for the Corporate Influencer Award 2025 in the Tech & Innovation category. The award recognizes influencers who contribute a strong voice to the discussion on digital transformation, future technologies and innovations in social media.

 

Many people want to be influencers, but not everyone has what it takes, the discipline or the creativity. Corporate influencers put corporate communication in a completely new light: as experts in their field, they not only give themselves a stage and bring challenging topics to the attention of their community in an understandable way, they also invest in the brand of the company they work for with their performance and influence its awareness, reach and external perception at the same time. Where this is still little appreciated and sometimes even critically observed by many companies, the Corporate Influencer Award gives employees the recognition they deserve in the service of visibility.

 

Our colleague Freya Wester-Ebbinghaus has been committed to increasing the visibility of women in technology companies for many years. To this end, she regularly addresses topics relating to tech innovations, work-life balance and women in tech on her LinkedIn profile in a diverse, informative and, according to her reach, very appealing way and creates a lively exchange in her constantly growing community. The nomination for the Corporate Influencer Award is based on content, originality and performance. It's about combining personal brand with relevant content about the employer, authenticity and credibility, creative and appealing content and standing out from the crowd. General LinkedIn KPIs such as followers, likes and comments as well as successes such as lead generation or recruiting are also included in the assessment.

 

The Corporate Influencer Award is organized by the The People Branding Company a leading German full-service consultancy for corporate influencing on the LinkedIn platform. The award is intended to give the topic more visibility. The framework also offers a platform for exchange among experts. In addition to the Tech & Innovation category, the award is also presented in the areas of Leadership, People & Diversity, Impact and Corporate Influencer of the Year. Influencers can apply themselves or be nominated by others. The team from The People Branding Company then compiles the top 10 in each category. The LinkedIn community then decides who makes it into the top 5, who are then invited to the award show in Cologne on April 3, 2025. An independent jury of experts will select the winners in each category.
