Milliarum at the DSAG Annual Congress 2024
In step with AI: project, portfolio and resource management in SAP
Milliarum presented its solutions for project, portfolio and project management at the DSAG Annual Congress 2024 in Leipzig from October 15 to 17, 2024. Resource management with SAP. At stand A3, we explored the question of how billions of generative AI is paving the way for SAP On-Premise and how companies can integrate chatbots into local infrastructures with open source LLM.
This year's DSAG Annual Congress in the music city of Leipzig was held under the motto: "The triad of the future: users, SAP and partners setting the pace for transformation". We used the platform to present our solutions for project, portfolio and resource management at the pace of Artificial intelligence (AI) in SAP. AI is currently setting the pace in the SAP community and is rapidly finding its way into everyday business life. This year, Milliarum was one of the first SAP consulting and software companies to provide AI-based applications for SAP on-premise systems.
Artificial intelligence in SAP On-Premise
Our focus is on the development of chatbots for on-premise applications: "We work with sensitive company-specific data. The advantage of on-premise, particularly with regard to data protection concerns, is that it is an in-house solution that is installed on the company's own servers and can also be managed from there. This gives our users full control over their data," says Milliarum Managing Director Dirk Ott.
Support users in the use of SAP functions
The Milliarum AI Construction Kit is an ABAP-based development environment for Fiori apps and provides a tool for creating user guidance in SAP through AI using voice-based interaction. It supports users in the use of SAP functions and the automation of processes. Our General Chatbot is a UI5-based chat interface for interacting with AI. "Our vision is that everyone can be an SAP expert in their core area. Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing SAP operation, which is considered complex: it will be significantly simplified. Everyone will be able to program and operate complex systems," says Dirk Ott.
About the DSAG Annual Congress
The DSAG Annual Congress is the most important Platform for orientation, exchange of experience and networking in the German-speaking SAP user community. Over 5,000 participants regularly attend. The agenda is shaped by current developments that affect the more than 3,800 DSAG member companies. One Partner exhibition also ensures that visitors can discuss trends in the SAP environment at an early stage. For SAP, this year's motto was "Triad of the future: users, SAP and partners as pacemakers of transformation": to communicate and implement the future-oriented product and service strategy openly and transparently. The partners were asked to provide their industry and process expertise with appropriate resources for current and upcoming transformation projects. And users had to abandon their reluctance to embrace transformation and be open to new ideas. The time to use SAP innovations to drive projects forward and bring them to a successful conclusion is now. Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in this.
